This location needs no introduction, quite possibly the most famous tree in the world. Aptly named “That Wanaka Tree” it is a world famous location for photographers and rightly so. If you get the conditions right here you can create a wonderful photo. This one was taken during my visit in the winter of 2021’ and I’ve taken this photo from a distance with a zoom lens in order to make the background mountains and fresh snow really come forward in the scene. It truly tipifies a winter morning in New Zealand and the subtle blue will make it feel calming and non-intrusive hanging in your house.
