I’ve always truly admired black and white photography and have tried hard many times to create a portfolio image. This one really has come together beautifully for me and is now one of my own personal favourites and will make a stylish fine art print. I think there’s also a message in the title that sums up the year 2020 and this image suits it perfectly. The image was captured in New Zealand on a bleak, foggy, winters day, it really did lend itself to black and white so well, and I love the strong contrast and atmosphere.

  Because of the different light penetration and refraction of acrylic glass compared to normal glass, the colours are more brilliant and the image sharper than compared to standard glass in a picture frame.
